Generations of Compassion.
Every meaningful movement begins with a story. Ours begins with Mrs. Ngowari Nodi
Briggs
and her daughter, Madam Kaine Nodi Briggs. Two women whose lives were marked by
generosity, hospitality, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others.
Madam Kaine was many things. A devoted mother and grandmother, an entrepreneur, a
respected member of her community, and a professionally trained caterer. She
followed in
the footsteps of her mother, Mrs. Ngowari Nodi Briggs, who also dedicated her life
to
catering and serving others. Together, they built more than a profession; they
carried
forward a tradition of welcoming people, sharing meals, and showing love through
service.
For Madam Kaine, preparing food was never simply about feeding people. It was about
welcoming them. It was about making them feel seen, valued, and at home. Whether she
was
catering for celebrations, supporting family and friends, or quietly helping someone
in
need, she gave generously of her time, her talents, and her heart.
Her kitchen became a place where kindness
was
shared as freely as every meal she prepared, a reflection of the values she
inherited
and, in turn, passed on.
